Hong Shao Xuan@ SAM

It is a much anticipated concert for the Xinyao Scene. It is a night for the one and only Hong Shao Xuan.

Shao Xuan is being referred to as the "Fei Yu Qing" of Singapore. The reasons being both of them can blend the high and low notes effortlessly and also their timeless appearance. Shao Xuan is already 49...but I doubt anyone can tell it by his almost flawless complexion and also the energy he has while performing.

It is a sold out performance at Singapore Art Musuem with about 180 audience. Let's look at the highlights of the night.

Congrats Razzleplay!

Allow me to introduce the band Razzleplay again.

This band consist of five members; two of them are Echo Music's instructors - Vics and Simin. The other three are our very dear friends Sean, Siling and Vincent. They have recently released a single which consist of two original songs. Although it is not a full album, great effort was channel into this production. They even had a new set of pictures taken, which I thought was much better than their previous ones.

Echo Music is involved in the vocal production of the single. Simon and I had fun recording with the band. The process of a production is always a sweet and bitter experience altogether.


In the Studio......

The title of the single is call "Invisible Wings". It is an inspiring song and easy to sing along with. The other song is called " Christine". This song speaks about the story of the lead lady in Phantom of the Opera. This single is now selling at Echo Music at $5.00 per piece.


With the invisible wings...they reach out to their dreams...

Our first Xinyao performance at Singapore Art Museum which was performed by Simon, Ivan and myself , received great feedback and response. Despite minimal time for marketing, we have a full house audience turnout that day. Thank you everyone for supporting.

Xinyao Legend Hong Shao Xuan

Recognised as one of our pioneer Xinyao singer, Hong Shao Xuan is renown for his pristine crystal clear vocals. Since the 80's, Hong Shao Xuan has been collaborating with composers such as Billy Koh, Li Fei Hui and Liang Wen Fu. He has recently released two albums 'Declaration of Love' 《爱的轩言》and 'A Journey of Songs' 《天涯.歌旅》。

Shao Xuan will performing in Singapore Art Museum on 26th Apr and sing his many hits such as “想着你的感觉” (The Thought of You), “友情故事” (The Story of Friendship) and my personal favorite “秋心赋” (The Autumn Heart). Our instructor Denis will be playing the keyboard on the performance as well.
