Alex Wang "No Explanation" Live In Concert 2010

Hey, I know this concert is over for a while. But it is sure a memorable one, and will be remembered for a long time for those instructors and Star 2 students, who had the honour of participating with him at the esplanade.

I had blogged about this in our vocal blog, but there are these nice pictures taken courtesy of Alex himself. He just got them posted on his facebook account like an hour ago...and here I am...sharing them with all our blog readers.

Nic..Busy Nic - 2009 RECAP!

Our new boss at Chinatown can finally catch a breather after so many events. That includes the 93.3fm music awards, the launching of MiLuBing's third album, endless interviews and performances.

Let's all have a little recap of what happened the past few months!

Yes! The launching of their 3rd album.

This album '三人套餐" is one of their most 'musically daring' album to date. The three guys challenge the Chinese music industry with some non-mainstream' melodies and sounds. Thanks to their management company, the 3 of them have got really cool looking hair for their image. Nic..you look so much fairer with red hair.

Remembered how Heavenly King Eason Chan from Hongkong, had commented that, he was very surprised to see such precious and wonderful young talents like MiLuBing in Singapore. Last year at the 93.3fm music awards, the 3 guys did it again. Their high energy and passionate performance got yet another compliment, this time from Ah Xin of Mayday!

December @ Esplanade -ALEX WANG

Alex Wang
No explanation
Live in concert

Alex Wang returns after four years with a brand new album “No Explanation”. Featuring 12 original tracks, written, composed, arranged and produced by Alex himself, “No Explanation” delivers his unique music style and perspective on life.

From the moving “Broken Heart” and “Alone In The Garden” to angry numbers “Mistake” and the title track “No Explanation”, Alex’s musical storytelling style paints a poignant picture of his life.

Alex’s journey in music began when he was fifteen years old. He started off playing
the guitar and quickly moved into digital music production

The focus of his music has seen many changes over the years. Starting off with simple pop songs, Alex is now emphasising lyrical content and a strong music style. His music ranges from slow ballads to fast dance music. He continues to experiment with different styles, finding just the right expression for his music.

Alex is also a seasoned performer, having performed at the Substation, Library @ Esplanade, Library @ Orchard, Dome @ Kent Ridge, University Cultural Centre, the Esplanade Recital Studio and Victoria. He has excellent stage presence and is able to quickly build a strong rapport with his audience.

Alex will once again thrill audiences as he returns to the Esplanade Recital Studio for a two-night concert in January 2010, where he will sing songs from his three albums as well as hits from his musical “Believe”.

He also plans to publish the novelised version of “Believe” as well as release the musical’s original soundtrack when “Believe” returns to stage in July 2010.

Do support him!
